Checking in - Sanford airport?

When you are leaving Orland, do you know how far in advance you need to checkin at the airport? We are just trying to work out whether to book the guest house or not.

...you should be notified on your tickets about check-in time.. it will be either 2 or 3 hours.

Don't check in with forever to spare as the airport is tiny and there's nothing to do, unlike Orlando International which is HUGE

Whenever we've had an afternoon flight back from Sanford, we always booked into the Airport around 10am in the morning, because the Check-in desks were always open at this time. There were hardly any queues and it meant we could drive off and enjoy what was left of the final day. When we returned later for our flight, it was nice to walk past the bulk of holidaymakers who were now queuing at the Check-in and then sit straight down in the lounge.

When we arrived last year for our MyTravel flight back to Glasgow, the bus dropped us just over 3 hours early and the queues were just awful - infact they started pulling evryone for our flight out of the queue and as we were going through security the flight was being called - we didn't have time to do anything. The best thing was we sat on the plane for an hour as there was a bad storm!!! We vowed never again!!

I didn't realise this - can you check in on the morning and then come back later for your flight? It would certainly save having to keep the luggage with us all day!!!

We used the guesthouse fot the first time last year and found it was great. Computers for the kids,dvd for the avid film watchers and a quiet room for the dads plus 2 drinks included in the price and unlimited soft drinks and snacks.

Used the Guest House last August & would def use again.

Book before you go it's cheaper, we didn't but was still worth it.
