Checking in online for Song?

HI all,

I figure some one could offer tips. I don't know what to expect.
How do we check in bags?

If the airport you are flying out of offers curbside checkin, you can check in online and then do your bags curbside (I've done this on Song). If they don't, you can check in online if you wish, but will still have to wait in line to check the bags (so the online checkin really doesn't help much). Online checkin is best when you only have carryons and can go straight to the gate.

If you have bags to check, there really isn't any reason to checkin on-line beforehand. It won't save you any time/effort at he airport, so why bother?

If there is curbside checking of bags, then checking in online will save time. There is usually no line, or maybe a little line at the curbside checkin, while there often is a huge line inside at the terminal. If you do use curbside checkin, people usually tip the people who check you in, a dollar or so per bag.

Checking in at the airport can be done at either curbside or inside if you are checking bags. You do not have to check-in at home beforehand to use curbside checkin. Checking-in at home won't save you any time at the airport if you have bags to check since you'll have to stand in line either at curbside or inside.

Okay, so I wonn't plan on saving anytime. I'll just do the usual drill!
