Not my preference, but not much we can do about that. I'm a bit concerned about the fact that the fort has lots of availability during our week except for the weekends.

I guess what I'm wondering is if we can move to another site the next day if we aren't satisfied with the site we are assigned to. Okay, maybe I'm just wanting someone to tell me we're going to have a good time and sold out resorts are not the end of the world. (I've been hard-wired by the Disboards to fear crowds of any kind.)

Only 38 days! YAY! :hippie:

If the site you would like to move to is vacant, call the front desk from a comfort station and tell them you'd like to move to it. They are very cordial and will try their best to accomodate you. Warning, however... they may not let you move to the new site until it's been cleaned & prepped by the loop attendant. It might be after 1pm until you can move.

I think you're worrying WAY too much over this trip. Don't let the planning interfere with the good time.

I know, I know. And my husband would agree with you 100%.

After I posted this thread, I realized that I have planned every element of the FW aspect of our trip to completion. We have everything we need, everything is purchased, all DME ressies are made, it's done. Booked. Finished. I've practically started packing. So instead of finding new things to plan and worry about with FW, I figured it was time to relax, look forward to the trip, and enjoy the countdown.

BUT! We have the DDP this time, and again, after I posted this thread, I realized I could easily stand to double my ADRs. But I don't know all that much about Disney dining, so.....

if you can't find me, I'm over at the Disney Restaurants board harassing those folks with every question my little mind can conjure.

(Signature meals come with all-you-can-drink alcoholic beverages, right?) :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

OMG, Dreambound!!! I'm going to pair you up with my D-Bro, NTSammy5!! He changes his trip itineraries about 10 times a day - - - and then has to either e-mail them to me or call me to discuss them. The funny thing is, we NEVER follow his itineraries (hmmmm, may have something to do with the beer)!!! :rotfl2:

I've had everything planned and everything bought that we needed before,,,,before,,,,,,before the trip, no, before I started thinking about all of the things that I forgot because I was to focused on being prepared and not on the trip until we were on the road. Yes you have to plan but when you get all OCD its amazing how much you can actually forget because " I would never forget that".
Lets see,,

FOOD,,,,,check
drinks,,,,,check
beer,,,,,check
DDP,,,,,check
Tickets,,,,,,,???????,,better pack them now, If we weren't pasholders that would have been a long roundtrip to St. Augustine to get them.but at least it would have been an option.:rolleyes1
It's the little things that will get you,,, not food or beverage but I brought batteries for the flashlight but not the camera or, I needed to clear the memory stick before the trip so nowI have the camera and bateries but can't take pictures because the memory stick is in the computer:scared: .
At least for me, these are the type of things that get me, the unexepected not the "I should have planned better".
The Ticket thing really happened but, the rest was just an example.

they'll re-issue your passes if you lose them.

Wow, the only things I plan are the day we arrive and the day we head home, otherwise it's "what do you want to do today?" :confused3

;)

they'll re-issue your passes if you lose them.

I figured they would but, at the time I wasn't sure.Even though we can get them reissued we still leave them in the 5er now. The only time I've read about people forgetting tickets they were not passes.
I've really only tried to plan once, since then I just walk around and throw stuff in the night before we go.Golf cart, Something to wear, eat, and drink, the rest won't ruin my trip if I forget.
