Am checking in late on a Friday night (near midnight) and checking out by dawn on Monday and was just interested in passes for Sat and Sun...I've heard you can do this kind of selective UPH purchasing only at the resort and NOT in advance (which is fine...I don't mind paying the little extra)...

...just checking to see if my plan sounds kosher. Anyone else just buy the days in-between?:)

I did this, before I found the dis. I don't know if this is the "right" way,, but it worked!

I made 3 separate reservations, one for check-in day (without parks), one for the days in the parks, and one for last night(without again).

Wondering, though, if two days is enough time to make the UPH worth it? Are you planning for PI, water parks, etc?

Yes, this can be done. Just tell the front desk CM you want the UPH for Sat & Sun only.

Thanks. Mom2Ben..I've heard of people doing that too...hopefully G-Oldie is right and they've simplified this process.:)

And-oh!- the ticket media type has been an ongoing issue for me;)... but we are planning for PI, the water parks and a casual tour of just the new and noteworthy highlights in all four parks...since it's such a short trip, I don't mind paying a little more for the leisure and peace of mind of the UPH...I guess.;)

Yes, you can do this. We have done it several times where they take off the first and last days with no problem. UPH are great because you can do the water parks and Disney Quest.

My husband & I are going to WDW at the end of January for 3 nights and 2 days (check in in afternoon and check out early--fligt at 8:00 a.m.) & staying at Coranado Springs.

What is this UPH with only 2 days? We each have an old "hopper" ticket from 1993-4 with one day on it. Can we get a single day hopper? I've never heard of this before! Can someone point me in the direction to learn?

There is no one day park hopper. The Ultimate Park Hopper is only available to resort guests. You can have them take your first and last days off the UPH. I would use those instead of using your one day ticket that you have. Save that for a future trip. The UPH are only good for length of stay where your paper ticket is good forever.
