Areas hit pretty hard.

We are safe but there are many who lost homes.

My parents are in Beaumont - still no power there either. But other than that - nothing to complain about. They were very lucky. As were we - little damage to the house and we have power now! Hope you get power back soon!

Still no power at my house but power is popping up here and there around us.

Maybe soon but once again we are blessed as our damage was minimal, unlike many of our friends.

BTW, the Red Cross is the most useless organization know to man IMHO.

Thank God for the Salvation Army and Local Churches, etc. They are really out there for those folks who are is dire need.

I am a little upset that once again Southeast Texas is getting very little coverage just like when Rita hit.

Bridge City and surrounding areas were devastated but I bet many of you have heard little if anything.

Not taking away from Houston or Galveston areas as I know they were hit hard as well, but we feel forgotten down here.

We are in east Texas and we finally got power back but people still in our neighborhood still do not have power. I feel your frustration!

The little one is still at Maw Maw and Paw Paws until school opens.

I really got to hand it to the Power Crews. They are working their butts off.

There are still many people out there suffering.
