Can you share your experiences regarding the time it takes to check-in, leave your luggage and get your boarding passes at your resort? I am planning ADR's for the morning we leave and I am wondering how long the checkin process is. We have a 3 PM flight so I expect the DME pickup time will be about noon. Therefore we will check out at 11 AM. We can take our luggage down and check it before we check out of the room, if that make sense. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

It tooks us two tries and longer than usual as we didn't know the drill. ALL adults must be present with photo id or they can't do the whole thing. They were very nice to me and printed the boarding passes and tagged all the luggage (about 4-6 minutes). They held the boarding passes aside and made me come back with all adults. (again just 2-3 minutes)

When we were at POR a week ago this was our scenario....
Called Bell Services about 8:15. They came at 8:30 and took our bags and us to the area right beside DME check-in. We waited about 2 minutes, got our boarding passes, they took our luggage and tagged it. They weren't sure if we should take the 12:00 bus or the 12:30 bus. Said to check back later or they would get a message to us. I had spoken to dh earlier that morning and he told me that he had had an issue getting on the bus earlier that week. He never got a departure voucher (neither did we!). So, when we went back to leave I asked someone and they directed me to Bell Services. They gave me a voucher and seemed to be surprised that we hadn't gotten one on our door that morning. The line at that time was incredible to check-in. Seems some had been waiting for over 30 minutes. And the line to get on a bus was pretty long also. But those of us with no luggage were able to get on the bus first! And there was a huge group of people checking out at the same time.

So, my advice would be....check-in as early as you can. We also had a 3:00 flight. And get to your bus area early also. But, it was a good experience all the way. I wouldn't hesitate to use it again. And will be..twice more before the 'big party' ends in '06!!!
