The last time we were at RPR I seem to remember a Loews First line for checking in. (Can't remember if it was only for Loews First Gold).

We are using an annual pass discount for our room and not our Loews First number. Could we still check in using this lane?

I seem to remember the regular line for check in being very long and the Loews First line being empty.

absolutely. the line is loews first card holders which you are.

Yes. I've always used this special check-in area even though I never have my Loews # on the reservation (for some reason you can't get the APH discount with your Loews #). I just show them my card & have it added to my reservation as I am checking in.

Thanks for the replies. I wanted to be sure they didn't charge extra to use the Loews First privilage. I know that when I put my APH discount in w/ my Loews number the amount of the room always goes up.

Good to know even though we don't qualify for the free goodies at the front desk, at least this is one benefit that will be helpful (especially if there is a long line.) :jumping4:

We used this line just last week at Royal Pacific- didn't have my # on the reservation, but they added it. The woman behind the desk was very nice- we were quite impressed with the whole resort, it was our first time staying on-site. We had connecting rooms (which we have never been able to get in Disney), and loved how they connected in the entry area, rather than where the beds are. Hope to return someday- the FOTL was awesome!

Disney,

How did you like the rooms at the RPH? Did you feel it was adequate for the amount of people in your group?
I can't decide on this hotel or the Portofino.

Thanks.

We thought the rooms were great- we were four in one room, and three in the connecting room. It was very easy to get ready in the morning without disturbing others, because of the way the closet, bathroom area is set up. I have never been to PBH, however I believe they have more square footage there (also more $'s). We were in tower 3, only a short walk to the water taxi. We left our room, boarded the boat, and walked into US in just 15 min. one day! Hope to stay there again some day!
