Just wanted to share what has happened to me.

I was part of the group waiting to make a reservation for BoG for the last week in August. After getting different answers from different cast members, some telling me that the entire week was booked solid, some telling me that the reservations hadn't been loaded into the system yet, I decided to write an email to try to find out the truth of what exactly was happening.

As soon as I sent that email, reservations were loaded into the system and I found that out thanks to the Disboards. I quickly checked availability online and was able to book a reservation for our pool day. The day we planned to be at Magic Kingdom was sold out. I have been checking online many times a day to try to get the original date we wanted, the 23rd of August. Every time I checked BoG showed no times available for that date. I checked 30 minutes ago, still no times available.

In the meantime, Disney just called me back in reference to my email. I asked if reservations had been entered into the system for the 23rd, I explained that when the reservations were finally loaded, availability showed for all of the days of my trip except that one. I was told that there was a reservation available for the 23rd. While on the phone with her, again I checked for availability and it was still showing no times available. I wound up booking the reservation with her.

If anybody has been only checking availability online, I suggest you also try calling. Obviously the new website is not working correctly on many different levels.
