Checking availability - not sure this is the right forum...

Would any DVC owners mind checking what availability there is for a studio or 1br (any view) at the BW for Nov 15-22? I'm considering renting points.

If this is not the right place, please let me know and mods feel free to move the thread.

If they allowed it, the board would be full of threads asking for availability checks. And since no one would know if someone else was already checking for you, there could be a dozen people tying up resources online checking at the same time. The bigger issue is that availability changes by the minute. If we told you that what you want is available right now, it could be gone by the time you line up an owner to make the booking for you, making the entire process a waste of time and resources.

If you are interested in making the trip, go to the Rent/Trade board and find an owner offering their points for rent (or contact David, a board sponsor) so that the person checking availability for you can grab the room for you right then and there.

As mentioned, it really does no good to look up availability unless you are ready to book.

Since the OP has gotten the answer in terms of board policy, I am closing the thread.
