Checking AP rates for June/July

Could someone please check AP rates for the dates of Wednesday June 27 - Thursday July 5, 2007 for Pop Century and the Wilderness Lodge? Our AP expired and I haven't ordered a new one yet so I can't access the AP site. I am trying to decide if I should order a new one now or wait until closer to our trip. I thought if the rates were currently better than what we have I would at least go ahead and order one.

AP rates are only available through the middle of February right now. They are usually released in 2 month incriments so they probably won't be out for the time your looking for until around April or May.

There were no AP discounts for value resorts (and moderate resorts) for June and July last year. The resorts were so over booked during that timeframe, they were calling people trying to get them to move this reservation to another month. There were discounts at DVC resorts and some of the EPCOT delux resorts. Because the value and moderate resorts are so busy now in the summer there are new higher rates called "summer rates" and the room are higher than regular rates, but lower than peak season. I would plan to not get a discount and if they are offered, that will be an extra perk. There were ALOT of disappointed folks last year when no AP discounts (or any other type of room discounts) available for those resorts during that timeframe. However, I have no idea about AAA, so that might be the only discount that was available last year. April and May AP discounts were released in March last year, so you should start watching somewhere around there.

We are a family of 5. 2 years ago we used AAA discount for POR.

I called Disney to get reservations for this year. We are going June 27-July. We got AAA rate (room only) at POR for $1673.50. 2 rooms at POP would have been $2084.60.

I only bought 4 10 hoppers instead of 5 hoping for an AP rate. Not holding my breath though

Thanks for the help. I will just keep an eye out in the next few months. We would like to stay at the Wilderness Lodge because it will just be DH and me. We are hoping to take another trip this year the week after thanksgiving with the kids and our new baby's first trip.
