We're flying Allegiant Air which has more restrictions on checking luggage and weight limits. I am checking our stroller & carseat when we check our luggage. Have you ever stashed items that would typically be put in your luggage into your stroller bag? I'm a little nervous that they'll tell me I can't once I get to the airport.

Has anyone done this?

We definitely have done this, esp on our return flights home. No one has ever said anything about it, but we've never flown allegiant air. Just southwest and American airlines

We fly allegiant on the regular and I always stuff the car seat bag. I get a zippered tote put all our toiletries and running gear in it and then strap that bag into the car seat and tighten the harness. I've never had an issue as long as it was under the weight limit.

I have done this on Delta on two separate trips. One person told me I wasn't supposed to do it (first leg of first trip) but let me go through anyway; no one else said one word.

I've done this multiple times on delta, united, JetBlue, us air with strollers and car seats and never an issue.

We did this last year. We shoved some things like our coats into the stroller bag. Not a problem. We were on USAirways.
