Checkers problem

Hi I'm relatively new to VMK so forgive me if this is silly.

I have won 2 games of checkers in the past, so my pin has 2 on it. But I just won another game and the number on the pin is not going up like I have seen it do with other people. I have tried taking the pin on and off but nothing works.
What am I doing wrong? I won the game fairly so it can't be that.

Are you playing different people every time? I don't believe the count goes up if you beat the same player more than once.
