Checked website at DCL and here about payment requirements but...

I seem to only find information about canceling a payment, or initial deposit payment, or final payment with regards to refund. I'm leaving Jan 9, and made the deposit months ago. When do I make another payment? Don't I have to pay half by a certain time? I think full payment is due around Oct 9th-ish??

My last trip had 3 payment dates(I thought), and they were not to far apart because of my selecting a last minute trip??? Or am I remembering wrong?

I search "Payment", 'Due date", "Deposit" but can't find when and how much they need in relation to my sail date.

Sorry I must be missing the obvious.

It depends on the length of the itinerary and you should be able to see your payment due in full date on the DCL site under your reservation or possibly through your TA if you booked with one. (And I use Costco, they bump up the payment due date a bit). Also see here

From my limited experience, there seems to be just 2 payment due dates. The first being the deposit and the second being the paid in full date. Unless I am missing something...

You are remembering wrong. Once the deposit is paid, you don't have to make another payment until your paid in full date. Be aware that in order to schedule activities, you have to be paid in full so if your PIF date is after the date when you can begin scheduling activities, you'll want to pay before the PIF date.

You are correct you can't book activities until your online check in date. The situation with the PIF date versus your activities booking/online check in date depends on the sailing you are on. If you are on a sailing with a PIF date 75 days before embarkation, then you can run into this situation even as a silver. The info you posted above is the "PIF to start booking activities" date which is also your online check in date, but that date can be different from the actual "PIF or your cruise gets canceled" date. There are too many variations on when the final PIF date is for me to keep track of now.

You only have to pay the initial deposit, and then after that the only other due date is the final payment due date. However, you won't be able to do online check-in/book activities until after you're paid in full, even if your activities booking window opens before the official paid in full due date.

Phone crashed and I'm waiting to see if I can get it working again before I have to change my email password again to another that I can't remember. I can't even begin to count the number of passwords I was sure I'd never forget! Still can't find the 2 books I've written them down in, think one was a Christmas book...maybe.
