checked luggage ??

I am shipping some stuff ( FE gifts and pre packaged snacks and diapers for my little one) in a box to my hotel prior to boarding the ship. I am wondering if I am going to have any problems checking the box with my luggage? Hoping someone can tell me if they have done this before. THANKS!!!!

As long as the box is very sturdy, you shouldn't have a problem. Just be aware that the checked bags are basically tossed into the holding areas onboard before being sent to the rooms. And stacked up to 6 or 7 suitcases high.

We have checked a big sturdy box at the curb with the porters in PC when arriving by rental car with no problem. We just slapped a few luggage tags on it and arrived fine because it was full. The same can't be said for poor box 1/2 full on debark. The box was flattened and barely survived. But contents were fine as they were crushable. This box contained prepackaged candy, costumes, fan, among other things upon delivery to cabin.

Oh my! Thanks soooo much for he visual. I may have to rethink my FEs as well.
