I just checked on my flights that I booked on 9/9 for 12/18-12/23 and they went down $146. I had a nice agent on the phone who cancelled my original flight as I had the new one all priced out just waiting for me to get to the purchase screen.

It didn't hurt at all except the fact that I'm kicking my self in the rear for not waiting alittle longer to book. Would have liked to save the $$$ because we are not planning on going on another trip until 2005 and that will be Alaska. But the agent told me I could give permission for a family member to use it so it will not be a total loss.

Just wanted to let you know that prices are going down. When I booked my original flight the cheapest fare available was Advance Purchase for my flight down and now they have a promo open. Just my luck. Hopefully I'll spread so pixie dust to someone else though!

You can also allow other people to use it also.

Thanks, we are debating on a trip in January or Feb. and have been watching the fares.

Does this apply to actual tickets too - or just leftover credits? My brother is moving to Florida this Sunday and if for some reason our trip to WDW falls through in Feb. it would be great if his daughter, her DH, and their little girl could use the tickets I have already paid for..

***Fingers crossed the trip comes to be...BUT...just in case...

C.Ann - Someone else cannot use your actual tickets, but if you cancel the tickets, then the funds become credit which someone else can use. Hope that makes sense!
