oh, and side note, i noticed the email to confirm yours was fullfilment4.....mine was fulfillment 3. maybe that's the group we will be in? so like 4th group of the day etc?

I received the email with the attachments and it says I am a winner, but where do you find that fulfilment info?? Was it in the first email that you had to reply to or was it in the emails confirming the winners? Lol, quite honestly, this is something that is almost to good to believe and I just want to make sure Im not being scammed by some practical joker, lol;-)

The 2nd email says stuff about media being there and we might be photographed/filmed. How cool would that be to see yourself on a ST2 promo for the Disney channel? They always do little promos for their Disney 365 segment on new things happening at DLR & WDW. (yes I am 23 and still watch the Disney channel )

That is the same email I got and I am not an AP holder (yet). If I actually did win, my son and I are going to drive over from AZ.

Edited to add: If I did win, I owe a HUGE thanks to Disneydaz! It was in my spam folder. I keep saying "if" because of the way the email is worded makes it sound like it is not a done deal as of yet.

Hey my son and I will be driving up from AZ as well! By sheer coincidence, the 19th is my sons 7th bday, so this will be a bday to remember Lol, my wife and I have tickets and hotel reservations for the June 3 opening, and he was devastated when he found out that it was the opening of Star Tours and he wouldnt be able to go. I cant wait to see his face when we show up on the 20th (Im keeping it a surprise)! I was a bit skeptical of the email as well, since the way it was worded was a bit iffy. However, if you received the second email with the attachments, I think you are in! Congrats!

A pp asked about soft openings on 6/1 for Little Mermaid...that probably won't happen. There will be media events those couple of days before the official opening and rides will be reserved for the media and event winners like the Kost contest thingy. Bummer about that only being LA and OC counties though. I understand it's only for people in thier listening demographic though, so that makes sense.

The AP contest for ST winners will be notified "on or around May 16." I did what Sherry did and checked all the days and times. Figured that would up my chances of nabbing a spot. For those braving the 3am check-in, please report back on how the ride was!

I am planning on surprising him at school on Thursday. However, we are going over it in our heads how my 5 year old daughter is going to take the news that me and my son are going to Disney without her and mom, especially if it is a surprise and the boys are gone without warning. Mom and her may just come along; dd is too small to ride it anyway. There will at least be two of us there, though, and I am EXCITED!

I have a question about how these usually work... I signed up but I want my husband and son to be able to ride. We will there all next week with our APs so the free entry isn't the issue. Is it usually just a special fast pass they give you with a certain time that I can let my husband use?

Just curious for the nemo preview, could you have passed your ticket to your husband? I realize the setup could be different this time, but I am really hoping that once we check in, it's just like a fast pass that a CM takes when you get on the ride.

From what Ive read on various sites, the June 2-3 press event will have the B-listers, which may be cool anyway (I am also attending the June 3 opening;-)). I have read that Lucas plans on showing up to one of the openings but Im sure itll be WDW instead of DL....We shall see though. And, hey, I can dream, right??

Yeah my wife and I had planned a quick getaway on June 3 for the opening, so its definitely a little bonus that I get to take my son a couple of weeks earlier Im hoping that DL changes its mind on the one preview ride rule Id love to ride it a few times but, hey, if its only once, its only once, and thats like 2 hours less that we have to wait in lines, lol

Got Castle Inn & Suites for $67 a night

I used one of the discount places (not sure if I am allowed to mention Hotwire or Priceline or the others) and ended up with a good deal. It is a little far to walk (15 minutes or so) but man I just couldn't spend much with this being impromptu and a "prize."

**Someone please tell me if I am not supposed to mention the discount websites; I am new around here. It wasn't much less than the $67 mentioned above, but it was less.

I'll be there too! I also got 2 copies - a few minutes apart - of the confirmation. Figure it's just a glitch.

I can't believe the early checkin - also a bummer it's a school day, I won't take my son out of school just beforre finals. But I've put in for the day off work.

As for the AP preview - for TSMM 4 or 5 of us from our office (all APers) put in and only 1 won ( we all went with him for lunch!). So don't bet on every AP who enters winning. Remember there are around 1M now...
