Check your National rates RIGHT NOW!!!!

Considering the Contract ID was deleted on purpose, and that the following are included in the quote:

Loss Damage Waiver Full Included
Supplemental Liability Insurance Included

I have sincere doubts that this rate is on the up-and-up.

It isn't or lawgs would have been back on this thread in a heart beat with proof.:lmao:...he just doesn't like to be out done:lmao:

oh, it's probably on the up-and-up for whoever the code was generated for, just not the rest of us:laughing:

Wow, my rental is for one week. (I did notice the price went back up). Here's my print out.

I used disney club code (which is no longer producing anything great, but did provide a $41.12 discount on the rental then)

& $30 coupon nd3z11zdq (my notes say no 'hard copy needed', don't remember where i found it, would suggest googling it before using 'fer sure')

no need to convince doubters, your "cars" are already parked

Yes The Mayor, we really would have liked to replicate the 131$ you obtained for the week from National Car, but we must have missed the "rollover" moment, c'est la vie, but we do not feel in the least that we have been "out done"

"going all in likeness"

"sharing" in its truest sense here on Disboards is not a game

thank goodness for the many "disers" whose only reason for posting is to alert others of "possible" better rates with National

we have been the benficiaries of many better rates in our 10 years with National due to "timely information" shared by other posters ( a genuine heartfelt thank you to those posters of the past )

Keishashadow posted:

and you are right keishashadow, it is not a code we would "use" or "post"since we are not entilted to it, but it sure is a "weird" contract code in the National Car database

I booked mine for Sep 29 to Oct 5 and it dropped to $199 after taxes/fees. It was $250. Used the $25 coupon online and 5007160. However my Oct. 31 to Nov. 12 is very high, but I got it months ago when it was low, for paying $334 for a two week rental, with only the code and no coupons (hoping to add a coupon when I see one.)

check you rate, it is now sitting at 187.43$ for your time period, the base rate is 164 plus 30$ off coupon Emerald Aisle Mid size with automatic Exceutive upgrade to Full Size

Well my friend, I did try your code (that you shared with me in the past) and for some reason whether I use that one or the 5007160 it gives me the same rate. I did try yours first. Yes the coupon is more and I just haven't applied it yet. I did crunch the numbers again tonight and the rate has dropped slightly. Now for a week rental (which is really only 6 days, but a week is cheaper) my total for my Exec. Aisle Full size is $187, so it's a little better. I just wish your special code saved me more. Maybe it's because I'm picking up in September and you in October -- dunno :confused3 -- but I'll keep trying and posting.

BTW -- nd3z11zdq (my notes say no 'hard copy needed', don't remember where i found it, would suggest googling it before using 'fer sure') I did google your coupon and it's for AARP members. I'm pretty good my husband can pass as a member! Now I have 2 coupons and don't know which one I want to try. Of course, National most likely will give us a good one too as the time gets closer. Gotta love those $40 coupons they give their members!! I am crunching the numbers for 2 trips at the same time, so I watch this carefully. My other trip is Oct. 31-Nov 12 (and for a nearly 2 week (1 wk, 5 days, 1 hr) rental my total is $299 for a Full Size/Exec Aisle--a pretty good rate I think, which I booked a while back and for some reason the rate was cheaper for the longer rentals).

Thanks, I guess I was crunching the numbers and didn't see your post. Thanks again for the coupon code too! I love it when the price starts going South!

n2mm aarp!!! my cover is blown;), didn't realize it was 'that' sort of coupon code...guess i better throw card in the vacation wallet:thumbsup2

i thought there would be another $40 code out soon, think the last one expired end of june.

it's so odd how a 6 day can be more expensive than 7 imo:confused3

im in sticker shock pricing out rental for 3 days, non saturday keep, for quickie trip end of month, mr sez ME will do just fine. I need to run a spread sheet factoring in the rental would give us a 'free day' for Oct rental:laughing:

imo, rental car pricing is the one factor on any trip where there is so much leeway for finding a 'bargin' if u put the time into it, i consider it more of a puzzle than a game.;)the difference in price doesn't make or break the trip, just makes me happy when i get a good deal kwim?
