OK, me again. I was logged in with my EA password, and when I made the ressie it didn't give me service level options, it just told me I had counter service. Can I change that??

OK, me yet again. I just printed my confirmation they sent me in e-mail, and it says level of service Counter. Now I just went to their site to view my ressie to see if I can modify it, and it says level of service Emerald Aisle. So which one do I believe?

Glad to see this thread. Didn't know anything about EA changes. The National Res Agent I spoke to this evening seemed fairly new and confused us more than helping. We have 4 rentals
Booked Full-size with DC Codes/discounts. Great rates. I inquired into the reservations on National's site and it still says level of service EA Fullsize. Now do we have to go back and change them all or just leave them alone? What happens if they are out of full-size? Will you get stuck with the intermediate (not that this is bad we just need the extra luggage space), or will they upgrade to the next available class? Thanks

Has anyone been able to get a good rate around Easter 2003. The lowest rate I get is $533.00 for 11 days. Also, do you have to pay $50.00 a year for Emerald Club or is it a one time fee?

My rate for Fullsize 5/23 to 6/2 (10 days) dropped another $13 today. I was Fullsize with Emerald Reserve but rebooked with EA using my EC logon.

This is the first time Ive had a full-size EA for 10 days under $200 so big ups to National. Now Im just counting down the days to an AP rate announcement and we're set ...

After reading this post for days and also saving a ton of money (over $500 for my 4 trips this year), don't you wonder how much money we have all saved with just this one thread! I have been a member for about 6 years and have yet to see an annual bill. I did, however, join for free WAY back when there was a free offer from Biztravel. Others I have known that have paid the 50.00 have never seen an annual bill either. Things do change, and I would check before I joined.

I've changed my Nov ressie a few times in the past few weeks. For a Sat-Sun (8 day rental) full size on the EA Using a Disney Club discount from the DC website, it's gone from 240.00, to 220.00, to 204.00 and now I tried the Entertainment Coupon contract id and coupon code for 20.00 off and got it down to to 163.62!!! That's roughly 20.00 a day for at least a full size....although I'm not holding my breath to get much better than that in the aisle!

I also had signed up for EA thru biz travel in 1999. I wasn't charged for the membership when I signed up and like Gail, never have seen a bill.

Is it November yet???

I didn't know you could join for free through Mousesavers. I don't know how I missed it. I've been on that site for days trying to get the best deals on rental cars. National seems to be the lowest for my travel dates. I just wish I didn't throw away my DC coupon in the last newsletter.

When you mentioned the AP rate announcement, were you referring to the purchase cost of the AP's or to the AP discounted rates for rooms?

We are going to purchase AP's for the first time for our two trips this year (May and Oct) and I wanted to know if the AP costs are going to go up, I will go ahead and get them now.
