Check with Tiffany to make sure they have your reservation

First let me say that I have defended Tiffany in all previous threads. That said, I called Tiffany tonight to change my reservation time as I got my flight changed on our return trip on 12/2. I had a confirmation number and was all set, I thought.
I called and gave my name, put on hold, young lady came back on the line, she could not find my reservation, I found my reservation number, gave her that, she put me on hold again, came back and again could find nothing! When I first booked the reservation, I did it over the phone because on the first leg of our trip we are being picked up at an airport hotel rather than the airport, so I know that it was not a problem with the website.
I did rebook, a bit nervously, but I got another reservation number and the girl I spoke to took the time to make sure she had all the info....but a few days before we go I am calling to make sure they still have my reservation.
 
I can definitely sympathize...the same thing happen to us last trip, but on the Chicago end of things. I didn't get a confirmation call from the local limo company the night before, and when I called them, they had no record of my reservation!! They had no cars available either, but they supposedly made arrangements with another company. Lo and behold, no one showed up the next morning. I called the company the ressie was switched to and was told, "We can't find the driver...he's not answering his radio or cell phone." We ended up jumping in the car and speeding off to Midway Airport...thankfully, this was two weeks before the terrorist attacks, so we just made it on the plane in the nick of time. We always take Happy Limo in Orlando, and they have always been waiting for us at MCO, but since I am a paranoid person, I usually call the day before just to be sure!

Definately call and check especially if you've made any changes (like flight numbers). We booked with TTC back in May. In July we changed the train we would be arriving on and we were getting into Orlando 3 hours earlier. I called TTC and changed all the info with them. About a week before we left, I called to recheck all of our ressies and the only one we had a problem with was TTC...they still had us on the first train we had palnned on. They fixed it all and were there to pick us up, but we would have been standing there waiting if I hadn't called before we left.
 
Well, now at least I know I was not the only one having problems. Thanks for posting, I think this is important information for people to have. :(
