3 grand children to care for...and an aging mother...seems that there's more to this story. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that this woman has a bunch of personal issues but also Disney must be pretty flexible if she's responsible for all these dependants...I guess there's always more some people want, she can always go to Holiday inn, but I'm gonna guess that she won't make a fraction of the tips that mousekeeping get....

i agree about the new hires, no one has to seek employment there. but anytime an employee suggests a paycut i would expect people to get upset and try to take action.

Yes. A pay CUT is a reason to complain, especially to a company the size of Disney. If your doing your job well, and the company is making money as Disney is, they really do not need to take something away from an employee.
 

This is what a company gets when they allow unions in....:confused3 :scared:
I'm a CM and a member of my local Union. My wife is also a Shop Steward for her Union. The STCU is great for the CMs, especially when it comes to grievances over unfair scheduling, pay and disciplinary actions.

Now, I've had some disagreements with the STCU in the past -- but I support the Union on this one.
