What the heck! I had to report one post on that thread to a moderator. Did anyone see that post regarding if Canada was attacked by terrorists that they shouldn't help us! After all that Canadians did to help out the victims of 9/11! How many Canadians gave blood or took in stranded travelors.

The thread's been closed now ... When the story broke a couple of days ago I was more surprised that Parrish tried to deny that she even made the comment and then tried to get the media not to publish/report on the remark.

And in case anyone forgets...we sent Armed Forces to Afghanistan in reply to the US request for help. By the way in case anyone also forgot, we lost four very good men to a US 'jockey' pilot who obviously didn't know what the he## he was doing and has yet to apologise for causing the deaths of these four soldiers. All he wants is 'his' right to fly again for the USAF. But heaven forbid someone calls them a name or two !!

Scratch exactly what I said just because 1 oud mouth speaks out and says something doesn't mean we all feel the same way. I know that many FF's from London went to NYC to help out after 9/11 and Canada was one of the first countries on the ground in Afganistan after Bush asked for help there. We had our special forces over there before the US had anyone there.

Just another reason to let the LIBS die out after this term they do not think before they speak and unfortunateley it works negatively not just for them but anyone who does it it is afterall the few that spoil it for the many.

I didn't see any Americans jumping to support what the Canadians were saying. It really turned my stomach to think that some American citizens would feel that way. No matter what the US government does, we will always help out their citizens.

Do Americans really feel that Canadians wish they could live in the USA? I don't know of any Canadians that feel that way.
