Check out message in Edge?

My son will be 11 on our next cruise, so he will probably spend most of his time split between OC and Edge. I know that when a child checks in/out of OC, we get an alert on the app: does the same apply when they check in/out of Edge?

There is no official parent communication when a child leaves Edge. I am not sure if there is even a official “check out,” or if children just leave at will. You can, of course, ask your son to communicate with you (by app message on a phone or by leaving a note in your room) each time he leaves.
