Check out at the front desk.

I left this morning on DME and forgot to physically check out. I had nothing charged to the room. Never did this before I always go to the front desk to check out. They usually just look at me with the "why are you bothering" look. Should I call?

I haven't gone to the front desk to check-out in years. They have my credit card on file and I always get a copy of the hotel receipt emailed to me early on the morning of check-out, so I always feel we are good-to-go.

You are fine. Just check your email receipt or your credit card bill and it's all OK.

Nope, no need to go to the desk. They'll e-mail your receipt, or hang it on your door, and unless you have a question about the bill, you can just go on your way.
