FYI... Part One....there appears to be a new email campaign too. I got an email this evening that was titled "your vacation planning video is on the way!" in it there was an offer for value resorts @ $59 "available most nights 8/29 - 9/30" with another statement that other resorts and dates from 9/30 to 10/30 were also available. It did have a PIN #. Since the other email offer had a different title and was from $49 this is obviously different. Of course I called and the PIN isn't active yet.

Part 2 is that the CM I last spoke to (tried 3 times over the course of 3 hours) told me it wasn't yet active but keep trying. She then said "I'd recommend you call tomorrow though. It will be really busy here Sunday, OK?" I asked about AP or other codes for October and she said "not yet but it will be really busy on Sunday and that's all I can say."

Part 3...I requested vacation planning videos in my name and in my husband's. I requested his online and mine by calling CRO and asking for it. The email I got that his was on the way had no offer and the one in mine had the code so maybe your chances are better with calling than doing it online. Who knows!

No codes! Well, no new codes. My Sunday travel section just came. I was sooooo excited to see the familiar 3 sets of Mickey ears with resort prices in them. I looked farther and it is the same old AZZ code and only good for stays to 9/29. So it seems those CMs are just pulling our leg or they have as much info as we do. This was the Baltimore Sun paper so maybe another paper may have something although I don't hold any hope for this week. Sorry~!

Do you think they will just extend the AZZ code into the rest of Sept & October? Hmm I wonder why they think they will be busy Sunday.... if it's not the newspaper........

Come on Disney, I'm a mom with 5kids and it's summertime and they are ALL here ALL the time--along with all the neighborhood kids--I don't need this extra 'code' stress!

Called to make some PS res. this afternoon 5:30 central time. I asked the CM to check my info to see if I Had been sent any email codes that I might have accidentally deleted, he was on th ephone for 2 minutes then said no, but to keep checking the email as they were supposed to be sending another batch of emails today sometime. He also said to check the papers this weekend.

I'm wondering if Disney doesn't allow them to print codes that are to come out on Sunday.
When I lived up in Minnesota and bought an early paper, I got the ads, but some of the other sections were different from the regular Sunday edition.
Just a thought

I'm booked for Nov through DU. If codes come out on Sunday, will agents be working that day to get an AP for my trip? If not, can I apply a code to my reservation that was made by DU?

I doubt it, at least with my paper. When codes come out I always get them in my Sunday paper that I get on Friday night. In my paper it is the same as you would go to the store and buy on Sunday. It is just that our paper guy doesn't feel like lugging around the whole paper on Sunday so he delivers most of it early.

With our paper (Pittsburgh Post Gazette), they print the comics, the store ads and some of the sections of the paper early (travel, food, entertainment) and deliver them to the carriers during the week. Then they print the more "breaking news" sections of the paper on Saturday night or Sunday morning (depending on the edition). Our current carrier delivers everything on Sunday morning, others have delivered the early sections on Saturday.

In our paper, they advertised the August room only code every week up to a couple weeks ago. I wouldn't be surprised if this week it's just the September code (AZZ), I haven't seen that one before in the paper.

My paper hasn't come yet; but I agree with you DebbieB. I bet it is only going to be the September rates. I'll stay up and wait anyway. Will let everyone know when it gets here.

I can't take it much longer! It's bad enough my new plans for an October trip got smashed into little particles of dust in the wind tonight!

Well, I finally got through to someone who could pull up my code from the email I got today. For a code that wasn't active in the computer till after 9:30 tonight there sure wasn't much left.

I wanted WL or CR. At WL they had concierge and a deluxe jr suite and that was it. CR had one king garden room and that was it. Poly had garden view and lv concierge. AKL had a lot available (she mentioned no standard view). The only moderate was CS and with limited availability. Didn't ask about the values.

The prices I was quoted were also a lot higher than what people with the previous email rates.

Didn't get prices on the WL rooms b/c I figured they would be out of our price range.
