check on AP rates

Thank You so much for that update! That part about keeping watch gives such a glimmer of hope!

The Passholder site is back up and working. Just tried it five minutes ago (4:45 p.m. eastern, Wednesday).

(And it was not working for me earlier today, so I think they have it fixed.)

. She gave me the details of the codes available through end of August and suggested that I "keep a close watch" on the passholder section in the next few weeks for "late summer to mid fall" codes.

Arrrggg! No mention of Dec code? I wonder if they are not plannng to release dec ap rates????

Thanks for the update. Hopefully the web site will continue to work.:D

They must be having to update their database or somthing b/c it's still not working for me.

I hope they release AP rates for Oct-Nov. :worried:
That would not be good if they don't, I upgraded us to GVC at the Poly. :( Thinking about no discounts makes me want to cry

I see an updated passholder screen - the screen layout to enter your passholder code is different - actually easier than the previous version. However, even after signing in I still can not access any of the links like the special offers section. I get an error regarding too many redirects of the page.

There's an awful lot of anticipation about Oct/Nov/Dec AP rates in this thread. Remember, Disney released those dates on August 28th last year. There's a good chance it will be another month yet.

However, 2002 they were released about this time and I think year before that, earlier. So there's hope. Disney doesn't seem to do things very consistently.

As discussed here too, it's all dependant on the booking levels. In 2003, the fairytale package 7 for 4 was hot. This year the 7 for 5 is not going over as big (so I've read on these boards).

Hope they come out soon so I can finally make a decision. Have my back up plan just in case.

Just called to check... couldn't take it anymore. CM said- NO, not yet. But, she also said my rate now with AZZ is actually better than the current AP rate for August ( GVC at Poly) ?????

Part of this may have to do with August is Regular Season I believe and Sept. is Value season so yes AZZ code which is Value season would be better than Aug. ( regular Season).

That makes sense. I thought her implication was that the AZZ would be better than the AP rate, but I probably read too much into it. Thanks!

What's wrong with a little anticipation? Afterall, for many of us this is part of the fun.

I had a CM tell me today that my code, that shall not be named here, was as good as it was going to get. She said that the AP rates were not going to be any better. Don't know how she knows this but I do hope she is wrong. I got a rate of $274 with this code. My AP rate is usually $224. I guess it is better then $354 with AAA so I can't complain.

Called this morning and got a no. AP rates are only until Aug 28.

Can't take this abuse much longer!!!

OK, I have tried 3 times this morning...........first time someone picked up, I asked about the AP discounts and the phone went dead!:earseek: I called called twice since and instead of being placed on hold, it just disconnects! Not nice first thing in the morning!!

I wonder why they would make AZZ better than AP rates? Are they trying to discourage AP buying? I'm thinking about planning a quick trip, but I need a good rate to convince DH...Well, we'll see!

True and correct. Value season for all the deluxes includes 7/5 - 9/29/04.

I currently have a postcard rate that's better than code AZZ, and I've sort of resigned myself to the fact that that's as low as it's gonna get.

That's not a complaint, at all!!!!!

I'm just sayin'. :) I'm actually just hoping for a lower AP code cause this is the first time I've bought APs and I was hoping to use a code!!

That happened to me a couple of mornings ago!!!! I kind of sat that stunned, "Did she just hang up on me???". I then checked this thread & someone else had gotten through so I didn't bother calling back.

I called this morning & the CM I spoke to said no rates, but they "should" be out the first part of August. My newest, latest, greatest prediction??? Sunday, August 1st. Yeah right.
