Check my FP strategy + complicated ticket question!

So our FP day is coming up on Sunday and we have a slightly complicated situation. If you've seen my other posts, we bought 4-day tickets from UT and now are upgrading to a 7-day ticket when we get on property. We realized we only currently have a 4-day ticket, so we can't book fastpasses for our last 3 park days until we get to Disney. BUT we realized we also have two after hours tickets (MK and AK) booked already. I know you can book FP's using after hour entitlements, so that leads me to this tricky question. Since we have 4-day tickets + 2 AH tickets, would the system let us book 6 (all day) days of FPs? And we'd be able to retain all 6 days of FP when we get to Disney and upgrade our tickets? Not sure if anyone knows the answer to that or if this is a "try it and see" type thing.

If not, this is our FP strategy for our 4-day tickets, in the order we'd try to grab them in:

60 +1 - Magic Kingdom
60 +2 - HS or AK depending on SDD availability
60 +3 - HS or AK
60 +4 - Epcot

1. SDD (either 60+2 or 60+3)
2. FoP (60+2 or 60+3, depending on SDD)
3. 7DMT
4. ToT
5. RnRC
6. Test Track
7. Space
8. Everest
9. Safari
10. BTMRR
11. Spaceship Earth
12. Mission: Space

I think our chances for SDD on 60+2 are very low, so hopefully we can grab one for 60+3. If not, we'll grab TSMM later on after getting the more difficult FPs. Does this order seem fairly okay? Also forgot to mention there's only 2 of us.

I don't know the answer too your "6 day" question, but I'm sure someone else will jump in on that, however I would change my thinking on your 4 day plan. I would keep MK as Day 1 but move EPCOT to Day 2, keep AK on Day 3 and move HS to Day 4. That would give you a better shot at FOP and SDD.

Wow, don't know why I didn't think about that . We'd just have to switch around our San Angel reservation which I don't think will be too hard to do!

Yes. Book your 4 regular ticketed days first and then book the 2 days where you’ll be using the party entitlements.
