check list what to pack ?

Alright... for all of you who are pro's at this DIs thing. Can you give me a check list of things I may not think to bring, things that you have needed and maybe wish you had on your trip.... Things I do not want to spend $$ on that are marked up there, that sorts thing.....

I am keeping a low budget, eating in room in am. Here is what I think so far of items I will need...

Good on the advil, always bring a few meds including something like Pepcid for upset stomachs. Last trip I forgot my sunglasses, I was being driven to the airport and left them in my car at home. I always bring an extension cord (video camera, cell phone and my own hair dryer usually gets plugged into it and gives me more room to move around). Bring zip lock bags and a carry around type purse/fannypack/backpack that is rain resistent if possible. Zip locks good to place camera and video camera in when going on wet rides (esp. Kali River Rapids, used bag over camera and filmed ride and bag did get wet but camera stayed dry). Zip locks great for extra food as well (you know turkey leg to eat a little later, popcorn for later, etc.). Bring a good foot cream to rub on feet everynight. Don't know if you have a small flashlight (size of one you'd put on a key ring, that way if you need to find your way in or out of a darkshow to use bathroom, you can see your way through). Have fun packing, I'll be doing the same in 2 weeks.

P.S. - if you wash clothes on your vacation, don't forget to bring detergent tablets.

Label everything-each film canister and videotape, hats and jackets-anything that you take or wear to a park that you can't or don't want to replace. I printed out labels with our last name and cell phone number so that if we lose something, we can receive a message while we are still there.

LUGGAGE
Use zip strips through your zippers instead of locks. Bring enough for trip home. Tie bandanas on handle to easily recognize at airport.
CARRY ON BAGS
To fit under the seat, a bag should be no more than 8H x 16W x 21L and no more than 40 pounds. To fit overhead, it should be no more than 10H x 16W x 24L. A garment bag brought on board should be no more than 4H x 23?? W x 45L. Any of these bags should be no more than 45 inches and 40 pounds. (Check your airline's website for their specific rules.)

Check all window locks.
Reduce Heating /AC settings.
Secure all outdoor items (trailer, chairs, pool stuff, swings).
Set plants in water pans if someone cannot water for you.
Unplug appliances:
TVs
Coffee maker
Toaster
Microwave
Washer
Dryer.
Set light timers.
Set burglar alarm.

I didn't see this on Big V's list, but if it was on there please ignore. I like to have a copy of my bank statements, showing proof of anything paid for in advance. I.E. hotel room, any will call tickets, etc.

By the way, I'm going to make a copy of Big V's list for myself. Thanks for doing all the work for me.
