When you check in does everybody in your party have to be there or can one person have all the paper work and passports and the others stay at the hotel until later?
We just did this last week in San Pedro. They request only one adult from your party to get into the check-in line with everyones passports (or BCs) and all paper work. If all of the adults had to stay in line the line would be out the door.

One person can check everyone in. Those that stay behind will need photo-id's to be allowed into the terminal. Once in the terminal, you need to go back to the CM who checked everyone in & show them your photo-id & received your KTTW card...

when i checked in for the Wonder last year i could check in for myself and the kids (under 18) but my husband had to be present to check in for himself and get his KTTW card so i just waited to check in until he came back from parking the car so we could all check in together. We checked in about 10:30am and there was no line....
If I recall from last week in San Pedro....(seems along time ago) documents and photo id (for adults) were required as you come in the port terminal. So leaving part of your group at the hotel would not be a good idea.
Once inside the terminal only one person from your group is needed to check you all in and get all your KTTW. In fact they actually encourage the rest of your party to keep moving on to the waiting area.
