Check in with expired passport?

Hi! Our check in for the Dream opens this upcoming Saturday and my mom just realized her passport is expired. She’s having the renewal expedited but can we still check her in to get an optimal PAT with the expired passport?

It has to be valid (at least according to the website). You can use these other options in the meantime: https://disneycruise.disney.go.com/guest-services/passport-travel-documentation/

Basically, birth certificate and driver's license. When you get the updated passport, you can update the info.

That being said, you might be able to fake out the website, but not what I'd recommend.
