OK, first time doing this and just sweating the details, I guess.

We will be arriving at Fort Wilderness (cabin) on a Saturday afternoon, so decided to book a "room only" ressie for Saturday night, and our package starts on Sunday (as a separate reservation). Did this at the suggestion of a friend.

Here's my question........I know I have to go and re-check-in on Sunday for the new reservation, but how early can I do this????

I dont want to have to wait until noon or so to get our Ultimate Park Hopper Passes:(

Do we get our passes in advance, or not until we check in???? I was planning to to an early entry day that morning.....

thanks in advance:wave:

You can check-out and check back in as early as you'd like. I would say as early as 6am. Your Ultimate Park Hopper Passes will be coded into your "Key to World" which you will receive when you check in. On your first night, this will be your cabin key.

When you check back in the next morning, you will receive new "Key to the World" Cards which will be your cabin key, your UPH passes, and can also be set up for charging priviledges.

The 3pm check-in time is only for your room/cabin to be ready if you were arriving for the first time. You can pick up your package components at any time.

Thanks Carol:D

Wow! The check in is open at 6am???? I'm sure the kids will be up and ready to go by then!!!! That's awsome!:Pinkbounc

There is someone at the "Reception Outpost" 24/7 and can take care of anything you need.

The only obstacle to changing out your key cards that early is getting there. Depending on what loop you are in, it may be quite a distance to "Reception Outpost". If you have your own vehicle or a rental car, you can just drive there, but if you are using Disney transport, the first internal Ft. Wilderness bus doesn't start running till about 6:30 am, but that should still be plenty of time to run into the desk, swap out your keys, and take the next bus to your park destination for Early Entry.

I've even dropped by there about 2:30 am on my way back to the campsite after Pleasure Island closed to pick up a package sent to me.
