Check in time at the Fort

Maybe it's here somewhere and I missed it so I'll just ask.....what is check-in-time at the Fort? Thanks in advance!

Officially, it is 1 pm for the campsites, 3 pm for the cabins.

You can check in at any time. But it's not guaranteed to be ready till those times. They're now offering to text message you to let you know when it's ready. In the meantime, you can park your rig/car in the overflow lot and walk over to the bus stops and go anywhere you want. No need to spend anymore gas...

Officially, it is 1 pm for the campsites but being here so long and the Fort being so empty we see people pulling in at 8am

The 1:00PM guarantee has not always been fulfilled for us in the past. We have had to wait until after 2:00PM because the previous guest had not left the campsite.

Our earliest check-in and receiving site assignment has been 4:30AM. This was when we had to evacuate our home because of an approaching hurricane. Most of the time we get to FW at 7:30AM and greater than 50% of these times we have received our site assignments.

How often does early check-in happen (earlier than 3 p.m.) if you have a cabin?

1) Campsites and Cabins can check-in anytime after 6:00am.
2) Although the site or cabin might not be ready for occupancy.
3) The occupancy times are *usually*
. . . 1:00pm - campsites
. . . 3:00pm - cabins
4) However, occupancy times are not a guarantee.
5) We have had delays up to 2-hrs, usually due to
