Check in Time and getting tickets

Hey guys, I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right section or not but I've got a questions about checking in/getting our tickets....

We are staying at Old Key West and check in time is not until 4PM...Well, our plan is to arrive about 12 that day and go ahead and go to the parks.... Will we be able to get our card before check in? (we were told that card is EVERYTHING, room key, tickets, etc...)

.... and once your room is ready they will call you and give you your room #. That way you can go straight to your room with the key cards you already have

Yep - or, Disney can text you if you prefer.

It's one of the best ways to do a hotel reservation, in my opinion. Also, if you don't have a ton of special requests, you can do online check in so you can go to a separate line, walk up, get your packet with everything, and then leave for the parks. Disney will hold your luggage, check on luggage, whatever, until you come back from the parks.
