A quick question. When you check in to a Disney hotel, do you have to pay the bill for your stay at check in, or do they wait and charge you when you ckeck out? Should I bring enough cash to pay the hotel bill when we check in? Or if I do express check out, will they charge my card at that time? Thanks!

We have always done express check-out where they charge your stay to your credit card. This includes everything from accommodations (if we booked paying cash) to anything else charged to the room (food,souveniers,etc.). If you do express check-out, they leave an itemized list of all your charges hanging on your door in an envelope on the morning of your check-out day and it gets charged to your credit card. No need to go back to the front desk of the resort.

Any remaining unpaid balance for your room reservation is now due and charged in its entirety at check-in. It's been that way for quite a while.

If you use express checkout, you will see that the room balance for the entire stay is the first item listed and there will be a charge directly to your credit card for that amount appearing in the credit column on the day you checked in.
