When using online check in, is your actual room number assigned before your arrival date or does it just take all your information so that the CM is faster assigning your room on the day of arrival?

If it assigns rooms ahead of time, does the CM see the special requests attached to the reservation?

Since the room keys are typically pre-printed and waiting for you in the packet, the room is pre-assigned. The CMs do see requests and try to grant them when pre-assigning the room to you.
