Wondering how best to handle our check in next week. We're an extended family spending Jan 6-10 at BWV in a grand villa and a 1 bedroom. One member of the group(my sister) just found out today that she will arrive on Jan 5 so we booked her a 1 bdrm for the extra night. In the original reservation she's booked in the grand villa (but not as the primary person on the reservation) - so they couldn't just add another night to the original 1 bedroom reservation - the night of the 5th is a separate reservation. She knows that she'll have to check out on the 6th.
The rest of us don't arrive until the evening of the 6th - but my sister would like to have a room available before we get there if possible. Will it be possible for her to check in to the grand villa even though she's not the primary person on the reservation? Instead, would it be better (or even possible) for me to move her to the 1 bedroom in hopes they would be able to keep her in the same room for the entire stay?
Any thoughts/insight would be great!
Thanks and Happy New Year!

If she wants to stay in the 1 bedroom the entire time, I would change the reservation with hopes that she can keep the same room. Make sure that MS notes both reservations.

You don't need to be the primary to check into the room. Be advised that Grand Villas tend to be made available for check in latter in the day due to the fact that they take so long to clean.

Thanks so much. I'll call MS and switch her to the other room - hopefully even if she can't keep the same room she'll be able to get the new 1 bedroom on the earlier side. This is our first time with a Grand Villa - thanks for the info that they are ready later - that will be fine for the rest of us - we won't arrive until after 6.
