Check in policy

We are going to VWL in a few weeks. The reservation is under my mothers name (the DVC owner). She is planning on checking in online before we arrive and giving them all the info. However, I will get to Orlando and the hotel before she does on check in day. We were hoping that I could check in at the desk and pick up our keys/room info before my mom arrives so that we could get into the room if it was ready so my nephew can take his nap...do you think they will let us do this? Would my mother need to call and let them know what we are trying to do??

Any person (age 18 or older) listed on the reservation can pickup the welcome packet used with on-line check-in.

If your family added the dining plan, the first person to arrive will be required to pay for the dining plan for the entire group. If you didn't add the dining plan, you won't have to worry about that.

Just be ready for a wait- it tends to be unusual that rooms are ready before 4pm (check in time) especailly the larger size rooms. I would have an alternative plan for the nap unless he regularly does not nap until after 4pm.
