Check in on DDP?

We are a group of Moms/sisters/dau, party of six, checking in to two rooms at Pop on 9/11 for the DDP. We are arriving at different times from coast to coast at all different times. How does that work at check in? I will be there first, and I have made the reservations for both rooms. Can I check everyone in? Or will everyone have to go to the front desk and check in as they all arrive? I would sure appreciate help from anyone who has been in a similar situation!

For free dining in 2006, we were told that each person had to check in at the front desk to receive their KTTW cards. I believe there was concern that there would be "phantom" guests.

You probably will be able to check in and receive your KTTW, but the others in your group may have to go to the front desk to receive their room cards.

I'm sorry...kttw cards? I thought it was one card, kind of like a room key?

Yeah - you never thought of that? (entirely complimentary comment alert!) As intelligent as you are, I'm surprise. Phantom kids - back before Disney was forced to separate the credits, because Guests often wouldn't... phantom adults - still a great deal during Free Dining...

Now the paperwork states that all members of your party must be present at registration. Actual practice indicates this is sometimes true, sometimes not - but you won't know in advance...

I honestly think it depends on the CM checking you in. We were at the WL in Sept. 2006 and the Poly in Sept. 2007 (both for free dining) and I checked in our family of 4 while the rest of my family walked around the lobby. Neither CM questioned where the other members of my party were.....they just told me where our room was, gave me KTTW cards for each of us, and told me to have a wonderful stay
