Quick question - We have a large group (10) all arriving for a family vacation. All under one reservation. All linked to MDE with magic bands for each. Some want to go directly to a park before we are all checked into our room. Can they just go directly to the park (Park reservations are all set) prior to us checking in to the resort?
Thanks for any help, advice, or tips.

Yes. Your park tickets are good on your first day as soon as the parks open. If you've done online check in, you will already be checked in even though your room may not be ready for quite some time. Disney actually wants you in the parks spending money and enjoying your stay as soon as you arrive.

Go ahead and use online check-in in MDE the day before you leave. Then you're all checked in without going to the resort.

If you are using Magical Express/new Mears service, you can leave your bags at bell services when you get to the resort if the room isn't ready or you don't want to head there first. Or if you're renting a car(s) and driving, you can head straight to the parks and get to your resort at the end of the day.

Thanks for the info… I was pretty sure that was the case… just wanted some confirmation from the experts (DisBoard peeps)

Yes, your linked park tickets haven't anything to do with a hotel reservation. Valid park tickets get you into the parks, a valid resort reservation gets you into the resorts 🤗

Have a magical vacation!
