Hi there ! Congrats to all of the winners so far. Been lurking ( with rapt attention to this thread ) and just to throw a new question into the pot in these waning days of the promotion ( I wish they would extend it until the end of 2012 ) ... To the winners..What time of day did you text or enter online? I have been switching it up in the hopes of covering the spread..I will enter online, and my DH texts or vice versa, at different times of day, on different computers etc....I assume it's a computerized selection ( won't even pretend to understand how that would work ) but wonder if there is some uniformity in the times of the entry....Anyhoo...here's hoping a ginour"mouse" pile of pixies dust drops on us all and it's a "DISer a Day " from here on in until the end of the contest !

I entered online only and always in the morning between 8am and 10am EST.

I will say that even if I don't win OMDD at least entering every day has led me to a new obsession - entering sweepstakes.

I am probably entering close to 300 per day now. So far I have won a DVD, a free box of Smucker's Uncrustables, a set of headphones, a $15 Amazon gift card, and various coupons.

Really, though, it doesn't take long, is fun, and even winning a $2 box of Uncrustables had me smiling all day. I'm much rather win OMDD and I'm beyond jealous of the ones who have won (congrats to you all, but I am jealous and no denying that).

I have a silly question. If our cell phone account, which has both mine and DH's cells, is under DH's name, would both cell phone #'s be considered his? I was wondering because I wouldn't want text entries from our phones be considered coming from the same person, which would void our entries. Thanks for the input.

I've been entering through online-sweepstakes.com. Someone else on this thread mentioned using it, and my sister used to enter sweeps a lot and used that site as well. I'm a total newbie at it, so I don't have any tips. I just enter anything that has a prize I would like to win and that I qualify for.

Do you worry about the personal information they are collecting? It seems that they are primarily in the business of providing any private info they can find on you to their sponsers.

Maybe I am just paraniod.

The only information I have entered is my name and address .

I don't do the blogs or any sweeps that seem off - just ones run by well-known companies. Like Disney .

We haven't heard from Disney yet so we don't know what our options will be yet.

Thinking about this contest in my head, and how so many DIS board people have won, it kind of makes sense. People on these boards are the ones who check the site daily for updates and such, so they would be some of the first to find out about the contest and to enter it. Also, the contest itself can be a little hard to find on the website, and isn't advertised much, so unless you already know about it or are a big Disney fan like most of us, I can see why so many have won. I didn't win the $5000 gift card in the $25 raffle that I entered, drawn on Saturday, from my friend's son's school, and they even capped the ticket sales to only 500. I'm now trying to convince the school where I work to do the same raffle for an upcoming Parents Weekend! I think it would go over really well with the parents of our students, and even others in the community, alumni, and employees - and of course, I'll be letting my friends on FB know about the raffle too.

Come on OMDD, draw my name please, or my husband's, I'm flexible!
