Their prize may not be 1 of the 60 trips of the OMDD but it's still the exact same promotion/gift giveaway for OMDD. Just through a radio station. Our local radio station is also doing it as well and they are promoting it as OMDD too.

If it's being promoted on the radio stations as OMDD then it could very well be a branch promotion of the same - just a different method of entry made exclusively through various radio stations. If this is the case, then it is what it is; another OMDD contest!

I too am sorry that you are getting nasty replies. And as others have said, anyone who is behaving like that is jealous of your win. Congrats on the trip!

I believe that you did win a OMDD as I also entered an online contest from a different sponser that had the same exact prize and also mentioned OMMD promotion. Who cares if it is not one of "the official" ones? You won a trip and deserve to bask in the glory here with the other winners.

Do you think you could edit your OP in this thread to have a list of OMDD winners from the online/text sweepstakes, and another list of people who have won the same prize from a different outlet, like a radio contest? That way, for those keeping track, we will have a list of up to 60 winners from the online/text drawings, and another list that could be infinite for people who won another way.

And I think skhermsmeyer, you should do whatever you want with your siggy line!

They called me first and I didn't answer. I was home with a sick child and didn't recognize the number. After I didn't answer they texted me re: One More Disney Day Sweepstakes. I called back IMMEDIATELY She couldn't tell me I won but that I was a potential winner. Then she said I needed to sign and return an affidavit and then I could be confirmed as a winner. She verified my info and was going to Fed Ex me the package. Then after a few minutes she called me back again and offered to email me everything so I could get it quicker.

I admit... of course I'm jealous of all the winners.... and whenever it is posted that more people have received notification of winning, and I didn't, yup, I feel a bit defeated! I am learning to accept that I am just unlucky!

BUT, even though I am green with envy (is the only emoticon I could find to use!)... I am SOOO thrilled for all the Disers that are winning! NIce to see some of these winning trips go to people on here that obviously all have such a love for Disney - and perhaps, those on here who have done many trips and spent quite a lot of $$$ over the years on WDW, to actually WIN a trip and get a bit of a break for a change!

I look forward to hearing of the winners' plans for their trips and some nice trip reports!!

I just wanted to thank everyone for being as Disney Obsessed as myself! My husband calls me a Disney Addict and thought I had to be crazy. Every day I send a reminder to him at work to please text Disney. I update him with things like, we need to watch for fedex, or watch for a 212 number. Thinking about this contest consumes part of my days, in which sometimes I text again just to get the "sorry you have already entered today" message so that I'm sure they counted the first one! I had to show him this thread so that he could see I'm not alone! DISers ROCK! Congrats winners!
