Well, until I saw your picture I thought you were the husband of someone I know from a pw list. He's a musician, AP in So.Cal, loves Disney, and has an adopted child. BUT he's not blond! And his instrument is guitar.

:) Well, I am somewhat unique I guess.

It looks fun :goodvibes I like your hair in that picture too!! Looks very nice opposite of what mines look like at the moment(birds nest) :lmao::rolleyes1:guilty::blush:

:rotfl2:Good thing you havent seen mine in the morning. Same thing

I'm enjoying the weekends because this topic tends to slow down a bit, giving me time to rest and keep caught up for once! :)

Yep! I left for work at 5 and just now checking back 7 hours later and I only missed a page and a half!

There are five Disney sweeps? Cool! What am I missing? I've got just the Aulani one and the OMDD one.

There is the Latina one, one from Hanes on Facebook for a Disney Cruise, the 25th anniversary Disney store, the Disney Cruise Adventure one, the Hidden Safari Mickey ones on Facebook for Disneyland and Disney World, and if you collect Coke Rewards, there are 2 on there and one from Purell.

whew! Good Luck!

Hehe I mentioned that it will be our honeymoon, so we'll see if anything else happens either :) It's worth a shot!

We celebrated our Honeymoon at CBR. They gave us a special Honeymoon welcome package at the hotel, and if we mentioned it when making our dinner reservations, several of the restaurants gave us a glass of Champagne or dessert for free. It was very nice!

The Purell contest ended yesterday. I went to enter this morning and the message appeared to check back to see who won. :)

That's so great :) It's a free trip and we'll already be staying in a deluxe resort, so if they don't do anything special I won't be too upset ;)

I haven't read through all 232 pages of this thread so if this has been mentioned before, my apologies.
I told my wife that there had been 16 winners of the Disney Day contest from this board and she commented that with one winner a day and the winning drawings lagging a few days the percentage of winners for this contest from these boards is extremely high. Are DISers the only ones entering this contest?
Good luck to all!

Well the percentage of people that won compared to the number of DIS winners, it is very high. Right now, if no new people won, essentially 25% of the winners were from this board. But, thinking about it, it kind of makes sense: this contest isn't very well known, and isn't advertised very much, especially not towards the end of the contest. And because the contest is sort of hard to find on the Disney website right now, only people that know about it ahead of time, aka DISers, will really enter, and really only people that visit these boards often, like most of us do, will remember to keep entering it. Obviously not just DIS people are entering, but the contest has kind of ended up being tailored towards DISers...

Those are my thoughts on the contest at least.

:thumbsup2 And I think some people came to the DIS after winning.

I apologize if this has already been asked! I have not been entering by both text & web everyday, its always been one or the other. Is the same person allowed to enter by both methods everyday? Just want to make sure I am maximizing my chances without breaking the rules!

Nope. I've got our friends, the ones we are going to DL with in October, entering daily, and they aren't members of the DIS. Yet.

I got an email from Disney about the contest, sometime after it started, and that is when I started entering every day. I just flagged the email so it stayed at the top of my Hotmail account, and clicked on the link every morning for two weeks.

I am one of those post winning contest DIS members.

Nope, its one or the other, not both.

No, you can only have one entry per person, per day, regardless of the method. If you enter once by text and once by internet, at least one of them will be invalidated.
