We arrived home around 2 hours ago from our 16+ hour car ride over two days. Had a wonderful (or should I say Magical) time and met alot of DISers! I wish I could have met everyone!!!

Does anyone know if 'islandhoppers' made it to the ship? I know that they were planning on taking the auto train -- and with the derailment -- I was hoping they still made it.

So, what was the highlight of your trip?

Any big disappointments?

I just posted under wovenwonders comment about the hair braiding but here I go again.

No major disappointments - everything was wonderful.

Highlight of the trip - enjoying the hot tubs every evening around 6-7 PM when everyone else was either at the shows or dinner.

The only thing I think I would do different next year is take a break from the dining room one night - by Friday night we were really tired of all that fancy food.

My husband did try to get gas today using our Mastercard which we seldom used by did use several time while in St. Martin. They had put a block on it - guess we scared them with all the charges we did. It is nice to know that they really do watch out for unusually activity!!

We had a truly Magical time as well!!

The only disappointment was with our 13 yr old. He did not enjoy Common Grounds very much. It was mostky full of 15-17 yr olds and he was a little out of place. Luckily he met two other 13 yr olds in the same boat, Eric and Colby (who is none other than wovenwonders DS) After making these friends early on it was much better for Josh and he had a great time. The other three kids LOVED the Oceaneer Lab and went so much they eackh got a great hat.

We enjoyed the shows (except C'est Magique) and the food. Our servers were very attentive and great with the kids. They loved Putu from Indonesia.

We had a great time on the Golden Eagle Catamaran in St Maarten and thought Castaway Cay was great. We could have done without St Thomas and spent two days at Castaway Cay.

All four kids want to go back as soon as possible and we may do just that in February. My wife and I had a great time a s well as we did not need to worry or constantly look out for the kids.

Palo was wonderful and we loved Jerry so much we gave him an extra tip. he was so excited and thankful we knew it was the right thing to do. Loved the Surial Bath Too!!!

We had a great time! I was very sorry not to meet all the Dis-cruisers! We had a magical time and loved every minute of it. The surial bath was wondeful anf I have to say Castaway Cay was the highlight. Although St Thomas was wonderful too. I didnt care for St Maarten too much. The food was wonderful and our servers, Delibab and Herlan were the best! They were so fun and so pleasant! We had a safe time home but our luggage was lost for about a day. No big deal - I was glad they found it! The kids loved the cruise aswell. I will truly miss waking each mornig and having coffee on the verandah while staring out at that beautiful blue sea. The Disney Dreams show was my favorite... I didnt care for the Morty the Magician show- we all thought that lacked alot. My favorite drink - hands down - the Bon Voyage!

I second that about missing things on the ship. I spent yesterday and today doing laundry, grocery shopping, cleaning house and actually had to cook dinner and clean up. Tomorrow it is back to work and reality!!

Hi Everyone,

Sorry that we didn't meet up with anyone on the cruise. We had early seating for dinner and our dd ended up in the 8-9 club rather than the 5-7 that we expected.

We had a great time on the cruise, but decided to drive home and didn't arrive home until late Sunday evening and are still trying to unpack.

Hope everyone had a safe trip home!

JoAnn
