Check-In for DVC Members' Guests

We have another couple staying with us next week in a 2BR at SSR on points. There is a slight chance they may actually arrive a little while before we do on Sunday afternoon. Their names are on the reservation.

I think I already know the answer but I'm gonna ask anyway. They can check-in before we arrive and without us there, right?

Have friends there this seek. Hearing light crowds. Hoping it stay that way even though it's the first week of F&W!

Yes, they can check in before you. If you have done online check in, they can pick up their keys.

However, if you have the DDP on your reservation, they will have to pay for everyone's at check in (unless you enter a CC during online check in so they charge it to that).

Have a great trip and hope F & W is fun! I would love some day to go to that but I teach and we don't get any time off in October (other than Columbus Day).

How does it work if you check-in online?

I don't know but I haven't been able to make it work. I called MS and they said there are some issues which isn't suprising considering whomever does Disney World's website is incompetent. You can't add requests, despite there being a box for there. Maybe its just with BLT, but its ridiculous. I tried submitted and was given the number for Central reservations to call, which made little sense.

I can't find any way to do online check-in on a reservation booked on incentive points because it doesn't show up in our "reservations". I know this has been argued ad-nauseum in the past so I won't even go there.

Does anybody know if and if so, how to do online check-in on a reservation booked with developer's points? I have the reservation numbers.

Try this. This is where MS had me go this morning... although be warned, Online DVC checkin was not working.

Or you can go to mydisneyreservation.com/dvc

This will allow you to actually type in your confirmation number versus being forced to select it.
