We are checking out of Hard Rock hotel on May 26 and checking into the new Kidani village. Originally was planning on doing some shopping before heading over to Kidani late afternoon, however I was wondering about room allocations.

Do you think the later you leave check in the less favourable room you are allocated?

Isn't it a 4pm checkin? I know sometimes you can get in early but you could also have to sit about waiting if too early.

Was looking at flights again last night Rob, £304 for dates we want, almost booked so we still might see you there. I need 5 (6 would be better) numbers on the lottery tonight.:goodvibes

I've read that a lot of people check in early morning, leave their bags and then come back later in the day to pick up the room keys once the rooms are ready.
There seems to be conflicting information on room allocation, some people say that requests are first come first served basis but others say that the computer automatically allocates a room before check in so who knows:confused3

I think if I had a particular request then I would check in early but only if this suited my plans for the day:)

Last trip we stayed at WL and AKL, and checked into AKL at 9:30am and had the bags follow, went out for the day and the room was ready in the evening

Hi Wayne, if you get the flights at the right price and fancy meeting up pm me, especially if you get the 6 numbers :lmao: £304 not a bad price.
