I had to clean at Patterson

I don't think there is any professional cleaning going on - it depends on how the CPs before you leave the apartment.

Does this mean that the so called penalty for leaving the apartment without cleaning it is actually a rumor? Do these people who trash the apartments then leave get penalized? A fine of some sort? I heard that the rooms gets checked before new people move in. Is that a lie? They just take keys and give keys, in addition to doing a couple of inspections during the program and that's that?

My daughter is already down there doing the CS program and she us extending until May and we are from Massachusetts! If you need someone, she would be happy to help out if she is not at work! If you want to find her, just post something to me and I will send you her information. She will be moving to Chatham with her friend from RI!

Thanks. I'm a nervous wreck! My kid has an awesome work ethic, but he's the kind of person who CANNOT plan ahead (drives me nuts, because I can), and he's not great at gathering and retaining a ton of information, so I just know he's going to miss something, and I'm freakin that it will be something too important!

Don't worry! Disney realizes everyone is overwhelmed, so they provide an information book to the parents and there are people in the parent waiting area to talk with and ask questions! My daughter is very organized, but was very scared, so it was great that they gave us the same basic information that she got!

Also, they gave us an all day parking pass for the first day and, after that, just be sure that your child signs you in at the security gate. Make sure everyone who is in the car gets signed in or it can be a hassle! Security is quite strict but very nice! I think they call their apt when you come to the security gate and let them know you are there.

Hope this helps! It is kind of overwhelming but so worth it! My daughter is having such a great experience and just extended, so she will be there until May!

They're not trashed, it just wasn't clean to my standards. The kitchen floor was sticky, the bathroom wasn't really clean, the drip pans on the stove were so dirty I almost set off the fire alarm making tea my first night here.

I've had two inspections since August 11th. I have another tomorrow and they do a surprise one the week of departure and then again on check out day. I don't think the last one is as picky as the others.

I don't see how anyone could think that a sticky floor and a dirty bathroom is acceptable if other people have to move in. Maybe it was an accident maybe these people are selfish and disgusting. I understand what you're saying but it still frustrates me and makes me nervous. So if you fail the inspection or don't do so well nothing happens?

I definitely think they do send in cleaning crews to clean apartments. I remember seeing people cleaning the apt across the hall from mine and then having new people move into it a few days later. Its definitely possible that they don't do that for all apts. Perhaps its just for the apts that fail the last inspection.
