Check-in at arrival or online?

We are celebrating my son's 5th birthday at Disney this year. When I confirmed my reservation via phone I filled the CM in when she asked if we were celebrating something special. With that said, do you think there will be any pixie dust if we check in at our arrival in person? If so, I can wait and not check in online. My check in window is open now.

I'd do it at arrival. They'll give your son a special celebration pin and you might get pixie dusted!

My son got some pixie dust in 2012 at check in. None since. Can't hurt to try!

Even if you do online check in, you can still go down to the desk and pick up a birthday pin.
