Check in 2 days late? Should i start online checkin?

Hi

We have a DVC reservation through RCI at Old Key West from Fri to Fri but we won't be flying in until Sunday. If we start the online checkin and get the digital room information, will that work or will they list us a no show?

I think, although I don’t know for certain, that you have to let them know that you won’t access the room until Sunday. Even with online checkin, I think they can tell whether or not the door has been opened. If you don’t access the room, they might think that you are a no show.

I would make sure they know. I was told last year that after the 2nd night, it will be deemed a no show and is supposed to be canceled.

Happened with the renters I had last August who didn’t show..and didn’t tell anyone either.

If they know you will be late..which is a simple note, you ensure no issues, even doing online check in.
