Check Cabana Availabilty

Unless you book concierge, your odds are always low - regardless of the cruise date.

I was able to book our first cabana (on Serenity Bay) for my wife and I when we were still silver. Non were available when I first booked excursions, but I kept checking and eventually was able to reserve one. The only time we cruised concierge (in the Walt Suite on the Wonder for my wife's 60th birthday) we booked 2 cabanas on the family beach for our group of 15. Unfortunately we were unable to dock at Castaway Cay due to high seas. The last cruise as Platinum, I was unable to book a cabana

Thanks everyone! I found the Group on another site for this sailing and of course non are available. I wouldn’t say it is a complete deal breaker but I would’ve loved the convenience. I’m sure we may be able to find a shaded spot on the family beach. We actually live on the coast and 5 min from the beach - so beach days are very familiar but the idea of a cabana . If we do book, I will just keep stalking and hope for the best either way!

I would also just mention that in summer heat, a cabana may be a waste with a baby in tow. We were just on a cruise in april and our three kids were DONE with the hot beach by lunchtime. On the plus side, after cooling down on board we were able to ride the aqua duck with zero wait.

We booked some nursery time for Castaway Cay morning when our son was 8 months. I knew I couldn't enjoy myself if I was spending the whole day trying to keep sand out of his eyes and mouth. So this way, he was safe and sound and we got some beach time.
