I've never thought of either of these songs as cheating songs. Why do you? Am I missing something in the lyrics?

I guess it’s how you interpret them?

I guess it’s how you interpret them?

This song came out right around the time my ex "found a new love." But we'd been apart for several years by then. So maybe I am looking at the lyrics through that perspective. Now the lyrics out that make you view it as a cheating song, I can also see how it can be interpreted as one as well.
