chEARS and race retreat?

Hi all
Has anybody signed up for these? Do you think they are worth the money? I know my family would like to feel involved and it may help....

I think the answer is "it depends."

I'm a back of the pack person. DH has enjoyed the retreat somewhat, but decided that he would be better served if he just arrived a little later this last event and did not worry about the special seating, etc. He told me that most things are not available as the event wears on.

I am not sure again as I've never done the retreat myself again mostly b/c I am back of the pack person and by the time I would get there I think everyone/everything would be gone. If you are quicker, you might enjoy the amenities after the event.

Some folks commented that it was a lot of money for the reward, but if it is your dime, you should decide.

Thanks, I guess i was thinking of something to keep the kids busy. I thought it seemed like a lot of money too.
